#101

October 23rd, 2021

Some anger-induced work; was super agitated with school (and with Inktober also). Didn't really have a plan for this one. Just wanted to paint something.

#100

October 20th, 2021

I did a redraw of an old Inktober 2017 entry.

Prompt: Noir

I created my rabbit detective OCs (from piece #90) into a noir comic/film style for an art event in my university.

Tried doing 5-point perspective. More annoying than difficult, to be honest.

A portrait inspired by Nicolai Fechin's work.

I discovered and implemented a method for creating a sort of impasto effect in Procreate using layer blend modes. May develop it more in the future.

Party Crashers [#90]

September 4th, 2021

Painted a rabbit detective duo that I've had on the idea backburner for quite a long time.

(see 01/05/2021 in art journal for more details).

#56

July 21st, 2020

A repaint of a piece that I did in 2017.

Abstract Caverns [#55]

July 18th, 2020

This was originally meant to be an abstract painting. Around halfway through I started seeing more of a cavernous landscape so I developed it to fit that theme instead.

#51

July 9th, 2020

This painting was based from a dream I had back in 2018, where everyone got stuck inside the subway train and I had to pry the doors open with a crowbar to get everyone out. Only the colour palette and the environment was translated to the painting.

#50

July 5th, 2020

Experimented with an impressionistic painting style and it hurt my hand. Ouch.

Freefall [#48]

June 27th, 2020

A repaint of a piece I made in Inktober 2017 Day 19 (prompt: fall)

Starry Cloak [#47]

June 26th, 2020

Night Fishing [#45]

June 21st, 2020

My first painting after nearly a year of hiatus.
